Hampshire Farmers’ Markets On Hold COVID-19
Hampshire Farmers’ Markets has made the difficult decision to temporarily put on hold all of their markets and events on hold due the the current Coronavirus concerns.
The government is currently allowing Farmers’ Markets to continue trading, but due to the popularity of the markets they felt they could not guarantee the safety of all customers, stallholders and staff.
However, many local producers who are members continue to offer click and collect or mail order services. Producers details if you wish to contact them can be found here: www.hampshirefarmersmarkets.co.uk/our-producers
There is no timescale of the closure, as it is dependent on government advice, but it will be for a minimum of 3 weeks and this is likely to be extended too.
As soon as Hampshire Farmers’ Markets and it producers are confident they are able to trade safely again they will reopen at all the favourite local venues.
Even though Hampshire Farmers’ Markets are not presently trading, if you are thinking of becoming a member when things settle down, now is the perfect time to get them to answer any questions about your application.
